The Veilguard had a lot to live up to. Its predecessor, Dragon Age: Inquisition, launched in 2014 and left the series on a devastating cliffhanger, a cliffhanger that went unresolved as developer BioWare went through 10 years of development hell and internal reboots,

The past Dragon Age games have been BioWare on its richest fantasy lore, and The Veilguard finds itself in a strange position. This is one of the most unwelcoming RPGs in recent memory to newcomers, as it hinges entirely on the events of the previous title, Inquisition, and even as a diehard fan myself, I felt lost at times.

By and large, I haven’t run into very many bugs in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. It’s been quite a polished game at launch. But of course, pobody’s nerfect, and Veilguard ’s latest patch just so happens to fix two specific things that have bothered me.
