Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki carried the Mavericks for most of his NBA career. However, in the 2000s, the Mavs post-Steve Nash earned a spot on a top team of the 2000s list.

All proceeds from the event benefitted Nowitzki’s foundation which focuses on helping children through programs aimed toward wellbeing, health and education.
