Nebraska is expected to hire Kentucky wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts Jr., per CBS Sports’ Chris Hummer. The 2024 campaign was Shorts’ first season at Kentucky. Before joining the Wildcats, he spent three seasons (2021-23) as the wide receivers coach under Dana Holgorsen at Houston.
