Georgia received 42 of 55 first-place votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll after receiving all but four a week earlier. The Bulldogs were followed by Texas, Ohio State, Alabama and Ole Miss in the top five that remained the same. Other first-place votes went to Texas with 10, and Ohio State with 3.
