Chris Stapleton took home four Country Music Association Awards and hardly left the stage on Wednesday night, while an absent Morgan Wallen won the night's biggest prize, entertainer of the year.

Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton were crowned the CMA Awards' vocalists of the year while Morgan Wallen was named entertainer of the year.

It was mostly Chris Stapleton’s night at the Country Music Association Awards. Stapleton won four times and took the stage to perform three times Wednesday night at the Bridgestone Arena
