Arsenal is leaving archrival Tottenham's stadium with a win for the third season in a row after Gabriel Magalhaes' second-half header settled a feisty and physical north London derby in the Premier League.

Arsenal loanee Sterling was given his first minutes for the Gunners when he came on in the second half of the clash with Tottenham. It marked a debut for the winger, who was the first Arsenal player to make his entrance in the North London Derby since 1997 – when Isaiah Rankin made his debut for the club in a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.

A tight, fiery north London derby played out as Arsenal beat Tottenham 1-0 to make a big statement early in the season. Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal had so many key absentees and Gabriel’s header secured a big win for them to take their tally to 10 points from four games.
