Predators Recall Adam Wilsby and Nick Blankenburg From Milwaukee (AHL)
Nashville, Tenn. (Nov. 27, 2024) - Nashville Predators General Manager Barry Trotz announced today that the team has recalled defensemen Adam Wilsby and Nick Blankenburg from Milwaukee (AHL). Additionally, the Predators have placed forward Michael McCarron on injured reserve (upper body).
Nashville Predators Recall Two Defensemen From AHL
The Nashville Predators have recalled two defensemen from AHL Milwaukee - Nick Blankenburg and Adam Wilsby. Blankenburg has been playing a solid game in the AHL this season for the Admirals and has NHL experience where he's done fairly well in the past with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Predators' Adam Wilsby: Up from minors
Wilsby was promoted by the Predators on Wednesday. Wilsby has a goal, five points and 10 PIM in 13 appearances with AHL Milwaukee in 2024-25. He hasn't made his NHL debut, though that might come Wednesday versus Philadelphia. Michael McCarron (upper body) was added to injured reserve in a corresponding move.

The Predators selected Wilsby in the fourth round (No. 101 overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft. He can become the third member of Nashville's 2020 draft class to make his NHL debut with the team, joining Yaroslav Askarov and Luke Evangelista.

Blankenburg was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Wednesday. Blankenburg was sent to the minors ahead of the regular season, and he's tallied three goals and eight points over 13 appearances with the AHL club to begin the regular season.
