It took me several very worthwhile hours. Going through Glen Canyon was outstanding, and I stopped at several occasions. How long it takes anyone is really dependent on how long you want to stop for. There was a campground in Hite Marina, The bad part is that Hite Marina is "closed" because the lake is low. What I mean with close is that officially is close, but you can still camp. Now you want to hear the great news? Almost all the places are in public land. so picking up spot with a small trailer is fairly easy. I do it every year when pass thru there. I used to tent but now I use a small teardrop trailer. You will love the place and the night view of the stars
