Those with Intel Arc GPU's, what is your opinion on them?
WEBI think it’s the best looking GPU on the market and while it does have some coil whine and chew a bit more power than competitors it works absolutely fine now. While it’s not the best GPU I own, it is my favourite. Seeing it evolve every few weeks is part of the charm. I truly hope Intel stays the course here as the market needs competition.

(I noted the backwards and forwards compatibility because if you get like a PCIe 4 motherboard but a PCIe 3 GPU, those will still work. The image has all of the drivers and libraries needed to run the FastChat tools with local models. The image could use a little work but it is functional at this point. WEBI did CPU training as well as GPU training on my Intel ARC A750. Long story short CPU training on this dataset with this model was about 46 minutes on CPU (I could only get CPU to work on Ubuntu running under WSL/2 on Windows) And the exact same model and data set using the ARC GPU was about 3.5 minutes. So at least 12-13 times faster on GPU.
